The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is an international robotics competition. Teams compete in local competitions hosted by their home country’s national organisers. Here in the United Kingdom, EAI Academy is the sole National Organiser. Teams may also compete in international events. In the past, the UK WRO Challenge took place in August 2023 and the International Finals will be hosted in Panama this year.Â
Find out more about the WRO here.
The camp includes an action-packed full-day schedule where students will participate in lectures, classes, workshops and competitions. This also includes a visit to a university scientific lab and Legoland. 3 meals per camp day and accommodation for the participant are also included. The price also includes airport pickup.
You can find out more about our accommodation here.
Yes! We offer packages for accompanying guardians.Â
You can opt for a shared twin room with your child (only provided with the consent of the child’s legal guardians), or have a private single room for the duration of the camp.Â
Â
These packages include 3 meals per camp day and accommodation. They do not include admission to the WRO Summer Camp activities. If you wish to accompany your child during the WRO Summer Camp activities, please contact us.
Children are allowed to join their older siblings or family in the camp even if they are not competing in the World Robot Olympiad. For young children age 8 or under, they would be able to come along accompanied with a guardian, and we are happy to provide packages that accommodate younger children.Â
Young children under 8 would not be able to attend the summer camp lectures and workshops. Do not worry, they would still be able to join the outings!
*When booking the camp for a child 8 or under, you would need to purchase an accompanying guardian package as well (for the legal guardian of the child).
Whether it is because you’ve already been to Legoland before, or it is because Legoland is not your cup of tea, we understand it! We offer a Python boost day camp in parallel with the Legoland day. You may join us indoors to unravel the mystery of the advanced features of Python and its applications!
